Find a local business

Search listed businesses by name, topic or place, including merchants who have no website and are listed from their social presence. Matches words, not meanings: a business calling itself a "cofetărie" is not returned for "bakery". An empty result means "not in this index", which is not the same as "not in business". Read one business profile

Full profile for a known slug: identity, contact, social profiles, offerings, FAQ, verification level and machine-readable endpoints. Every answer states how complete it is and which wanted fields are absent — an absent field means we do not hold it, NOT that the business lacks it. Check what a merchant is verified to

Live verification status with the signed attestation and its position in a public hash-chained transparency log. Read the `level` field: "human" means a Tunnel employee checked legal identity, channel control and that the service is real; "automated" means machines proved only that the business controls the channels its record cites; null means neither. Ask a business one specific question

Answer "are they open now", "do they serve this place" or "how much notice do they need" from what the business itself authorised, with no human involved and no model in the loop. Either an answer with the fields it was read from, or an escalation. An escalation means we do not hold the fact — it is never a no, and an unlisted place in particular is "we do not know" unless the business has declared its list complete. Ask in the buyer's own words, in their own language

The same three answers, but you send the question as it was actually asked and the reply comes back in that language — en, ro, ru or de, with anything else answered in English. Prefer ask_business when you already know which question you are asking: it is instant and free, while this runs a model to read the question. That model only classifies the words and names the language; it never sees the business's stored data and never writes the reply. Read `outcome`: answered, needs_detail (we need one more thing from the asker), not_understood, or escalated — which we forward to the business ourselves and hand you an `escalation.ref` for.
